The Baltimore Touchdown Club and the Maryland Crab Bowl, long-time rivals in the arena of high school football all-star games in Maryland, have announced a new partnership for the 2018-19 school year.
The Crab Bowl, run by former Virginia Tech standout Tony Kennedy, is in its 11th year. Kennedy and his staff will assist the BTC in assembling talent for Team Maryland for the 2019 Big 33 Classic, while the BTC select the players and coaches for the Baltimore team in the 2018
The Maryland High School Coaches Association and the Baltimore Touchdown Club have announced that Scott Ripley, Director of Team Maryland and the Head Football Coach at St. Paul’s School, has been selected to serve as head coach of Team Maryland in the 2019 Big 33 Classic against Pennsylvania.
Team Maryland is coming off a 9-6 win over PA, in the 2018 game which took place in June in Harrisburg, PA.
