Calling all BTC All-Star Alumni
Former BTC all-stars invited to particpate in 20th Anniversary tailgate celebration on Dec. 12th
In honor of the 20th Anniversary celebration, all former participants are invited to a special tailgate party on Dec. 12The BTC All-Star Classic will mark its 20th Anniversary when the 2015 edition of the contest is played on Dec. 12 at Archbishop Spalding and, to help celebrate the occasion, the Baltimore Touchdown Club is inviting all former players to an Alumni Tailgate Party, prior to the game. The tailgate party will take place at 11:00 a.m. with alumni being greeted by current BTC representatives and served food and beverages. All alumni in attendance will receive free admission to the game, which is scheduled to kickoff at 1:00 p.m., and invited to participate in the on-field introductions of the current players. In the 20 year history of the BTC All-Star Classic more than 1,000 players have participated in the contest, matching senior football players from the Baltimore area against Metro area players. Heading into the 2015 game, the Metro Team leads the series 11-8. This year, the Baltimore team will be lead by Eastern Tech head coach Marc Mesaros, while Glenelg head coach But Schaffer will lead the Metro squad. The BTC is trying to get at least one player from every participating high school to have an alumni representative at the tailgate party and participate in the on-field introductions. All BTC alumni wishing to attend should RSVP by contacting Mike Working or Doug Duval, at the email addresses below, no later than December 1, 2015.
