2015 BTC All-Star Classic Rosters announced


The Baltimore Touchdown Club is proud to announce the rosters for its 20th Anniversary Senior All-Star Football Classic, which will take place on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Maryland.

During this great event, The Baltimore Touchdown Club will be featuring well over 160 Senior high school student-athletes from over 85 high schools in the Maryland Region. For the first time ever, the Classic will feature two High School All-Star Games. In addition to the 20th annual meeting between the Baltimore and Metro all stars, which will kickoff at 12 Noon, there will be an East vs. West game, which will be played at 3 PM.

The Baltimore All-Stars will be lead by Head Coach Marc Mesaros from Eastern Tech High School, and the Metro All-Stars will be coached by Glenelg’s Butch Schaffer. The West All-Stars will be under the direction of South Hagerstown’s Toby Peer and the East All-Star team will be lead by Head Coach Keith Rawlings of the John Carroll School.

The newly created West team will feature players from Fort Hill, Allegeny, North Hagerstown, South Hagerstown, Catoctin, Boonsboro, Brunswick, Clear Springs, Frederick, St. James Academy, St. John’s Catholic Prep, Williamsport and Hancock High School. The East team will consist of players from both the Baltimore and Metro sides.

In addition to the games, the BTC will be hosting a special tailgate in honor of all alumni from the previous 19 games. All BTC alumni are invited to attend as guests of the BTC. These alumni will also be invited to participate in special pre-game introduction ceremonies.

“The mission of the Baltimore Touchdown Club is to help promote high school football in the State of Maryland,” said Baltimore Touchdown Club 1st Vice President Scott Ripley. “Having two games clearly shows our commitment to showcasing football players to college coaches as well as to the community. Players who have worked hard all season deserve this great opportunity.”
